Influence of Christian Nationalism in American Government

Christian nationalism, particularly the extreme version advocated by the group the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), has gained influence in American government and parts of the judicial system. The NAR aims for Christian dominion over various aspects including government, religion, family, business, education, arts, and media. They believe some opponents are possessed by demons requiring exorcism. The NAR has aligned with Donald Trump and supported efforts to overturn the election. Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House, has acknowledged being significantly influenced by Christian nationalist activist Dan Cummins.
