NOTE

Balancing Dichotomies of Leadership and Humility

A good leader must exhibit humility and coachability, along with the ability to balance opposing forces in leadership, known as the dichotomy of leadership. Leaders should find a balance between being aggressive and cautious, courageous yet not foolhardy, close to their team but not overbearing, and emotionally engaged but not overly detached. Effective leaders can recognize when they are leaning too far in one direction and make adjustments. Additionally, a good leader listens, is open to feedback, takes responsibility for mistakes, and avoids blaming others when things go wrong.
