The key to diversifying STEM fields is by providing more access to advanced math in high school, rather than cutting everyone down. Addressing the root cause of the problem, such as advocating for more resources in elementary grades, can better prepare students for success in higher-level math. Instead of focusing on ideological arguments, promoting equal opportunities for all students is crucial. The suggestion that eliminating math education would eliminate gaps is absurd.
