Jesus, while sinless, experienced the full spectrum of human life, including crying as a baby, needing food and sleep, and learning to walk. His sinlessness does not imply he was devoid of human experiences or potential mistakes in mundane tasks, such as crafting or social interactions. This challenges the notion of perfection solely defined by never making mistakes, suggesting that it is possible to be human and yet remain aligned with righteousness. Reflecting on this invites deeper contemplation about what truly constitutes sin and how human imperfections do not necessarily equate to moral failures. The focus should be on the essence of rebellion or negative attitudes, as minor embarrassments often hold less significance in personal growth and overall importance in life.
How do we prepare to meet the Lord? Dr. Shon D. Hopkin examines the baptism of Jesus Christ, his relationship with John the Baptist, as well as the nature of repentance.
