Great Communication Needs to Be Simple

Great leaders communicate clearly and paint a compelling vision of the future to followers. Clear communication becomes even more important as an organization grows and includes diverse members. Simple communication is key, but it takes time and preparation. President Woodrow Wilson once stated that the length of time he needed to prepare a speech depended on how long he was expected to speak. To communicate simply, one must prepare and take the time to express memorable ideas.
