Identifying and Overcoming Toxic Beliefs in Work and Life

Many people are not aware of their own visual blind spot or spend time thinking about it. Common toxic beliefs include 'what will be will be', 'life should be easy', 'it is essential to make money or be successful in a particular job', and 'not taking a promotion offered by the organization would be a black mark against me'. Organizations and bosses are often believed to be more ogre-ish than they actually are, fueling the toxic belief that one cannot disagree with them. Getting a friend's perspective can help identify toxic beliefs as it is easier to spot someone else's toxic belief than your own.
