The Intercept Briefing

NOTE

Black Lives Matter

Black lives matter people said so poignantly some years ago in the last uprisings, when black lives matter, everybody lives better. This struck me as so much more sophisticated than some of our main stream discussions about who has take in this fight. Ther what we see in police killings, for example, in the united states, is that behind a sturdy curtain of racism that makes killing after killing after killing of black people newsworthy, noteworthy and yet not age anything, the police are killing lots of other people too. That's different from saying only black people know what this suffering is.
