The Proof with Simon Hill

NOTE

Differences Between Brown Fat and White Fat

White fat is stored in various parts of the body and is dangerous as it increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It stores energy and is necessary for survival, but having too much can lead to sickness. On the other hand, brown fat increases energy expenditure and can decrease white fat in the body. Brown fat cells have more mitochondria, which are the powerhouses of cells. Activating brown fat through cold or heat causes it to generate heat and use sugar and fat from the bloodstream as fuel. This makes brown fat a preventive organ for obesity and type 2 diabetes, effectively decreasing white fat.
