Lessons from Lolly: Don't settle

"Don't settle" is the number one lesson my mother, Lolly, taught me. Although my glamorous career may seem exciting, it was actually a settle for me. I quit my job at 38 to pursue a life full of great adventures, even though it sometimes meant facing scary moments like being broke. But I wouldn't trade it for a safe and settled life, because it led me to be here with all of you today.
