How to Write a Song
The process of writing songs for us used to involve jamming in a practice room or while on tour. We would come up with the A and B parts and loop them for verse and chorus. Then we would add lyrics and melodies and re-record if needed. Even though it wasn't a serious process at first, it was thrilling to recognize something great from our goofing around. Now, when we go into a studio, we're still excited to leave with something new that didn't exist before.
