The human brain is not the largest in terms of relative or absolute size. It represents about 2% of the body weight, while a mouse's brain is about 4%. Whales have much larger brains than humans, sometimes four or five times larger, but this is due to their very large bodies. Despite this, for an animal of our size, humans do have the largest brain. However, among primates, monkeys and apes have larger brains compared to non-primates of the same body size.
