The Python TV shows were put together by different pairs working independently. The material would be voted on democratically, with each member having the freedom to work on their own. The speaker had the most freedom of all, surprising the others with their work on the day of the show. Despite being different in background, they shared the same sense of humor visually and verbally.
Terry Gilliam is the creative, comedic mind behind some of cinema's most imaginative and thought-provoking films.
The only American member of the legendary British comedy troupe Monty Python, Gilliam’s contributions to cinema include gems like Time Bandits (1981), Brazil (1985), The Fisher King (1991), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998), and The Brothers Grimm (2005).
