The rise of far-right politics, exclusionary nationalism, and right-wing terror networks has been attributed to the anti-dawjah's role, leading to a lack of concurrent rise in anti-fascist activity. This has undermined the effectiveness of the anti-far movement, particularly in addressing the current demographic realities in Germany. The German anti-imperialist left remains marginal and there is a declining political presence of the left party in positions of power.
