The Nature of Consciousness and Subjectivity

Consciousness is not inherently subjective as commonly believed. While conscious experiences happen in one person's brain and are reported subjectively, the essence of consciousness is not tied to subjectivity. This opens the door to non-centered, non-egoic conscious experiences, as discussed in spiritual traditions. The core of consciousness lies in the phenomenological notion of subjectivity, challenging the idea that consciousness is purely subjective and cannot be captured by science.
