The lusada ratio mentioned in the original paper was deeply flawed./nDespite being deeply flawed, the research may still be directionally true./nThe general idea of needing a lot of positives, relatives, and negatives in a relationship holds true./nThe original paper probably doesn't hold up, but there may still be something to learn from it./nSocial science research may not always be perfect, but if it fits with one's intuitive experience, there is probably something there.
