Creating a Task Management System Using Obsidian Tasks

The speaker was inspired by a Cal Newport podcast episode to create a task management system in Obsidian using essential lists. They crafted a canvas dashboard with different colored boxes representing queries such as ready, back burner, waiting to discuss, clarify this month, scheduled later, someday, unscheduled, and inbox. The speaker created individual notes for these queries and then placed them inside cards on the Obsidian canvas, color coding them for a visually pleasing display. Although the system is still a work in progress, the speaker is enthusiastic about its potential and believes it will greatly enhance their task management process.
