NOTE

Recruiting Muscles for Steady Glucose Levels

In week four, we recruit our muscles as powerful allies for steady glucose levels. Our muscle cells, like our toe cells, also use glucose for energy. After one meal a day, we can take advantage of this by moving for 10 minutes. This could be walking, cleaning, dancing, or doing calf raises. By contracting our muscles, they soak up some of the glucose from the meal, reducing spikes. This is all about enjoying food while improving brain function, reducing inflammation, and balancing glucose levels.
