Agency and Action in Spiritual Progress

Work is essential for individual spiritual progress as it allows us to exercise our moral agency given by Heavenly Father. This agency empowers us to become agents who act for ourselves instead of being passive. Faith in Christ is highlighted as the foundation of righteousness and the principle of action for all intelligent beings. This faith involves actively following Him, living His teachings, keeping His commandments, and binding ourselves to Him through covenants.
