Acuity is the refinement in what you're able to pay attention to, such as subtle shifts, differences in breathing patterns, and other subtle details. It's like developing a refined wine palette to distinguish subtle flavors. Acuity is about paying attention to lots of subtle things, whereas calibration involves fine-tuning and adjusting your responses and actions based on what you are paying attention to.
