Tips to create a new identity to change your behaviour more easily

To build lasting habits, start by creating a new identity for yourself. Decide what type of person you want to be and start proving it to yourself with small wins, casting votes for that identity. Reinforce your desired identity with small actions and habits, and eventually you will build up a sense of momentum and pride in that aspect of your identity. Ask yourself questions related to your desired identity and make decisions accordingly. Accumulate actions that support your desired identity to reinforce and shape it into who you want to become.
