Recognizing and being free of the pain body is the first step. It arises when there's an intensity of emotion that is out of proportion to the triggering event. The pain body feeds on further emotional pain through thinking and others' reactions. When alone, it can be awakened by a thought, causing negative thinking and reflecting emotional energy.
