Easy access to pornography from a young age through platforms like Pornhub results in early exposure to explicit content for most children by the age of 11-14. While both boys and girls are exposed, boys are more likely to become daily users, impacting their perception of sex as aggressive and violent. Girls, on the other hand, tend to be sexualized and pressured to adopt sexual poses from pornographic content. This exposure leads to a generation (Gen Z) that engages in less sex, dating, marriage, and has fewer children. Protecting children aged 10 to 15 from explicit content could be crucial for their healthy sexual development.
