Communism vs. Capitalism: Maximizing Value Through Consent
At one end of the spectrum is communism, where the state owns everything and individuals own nothing, based on pure coerciveism. On the opposite end is capitalism, where individuals own everything and consensual trade is paramount, maximizing value creation through mutually beneficial exchanges. Only in a world that upholds life, liberty, and property can this consensual value creation occur. Socialism, positioned between these extremes, is defined as an institutionalized policy of aggression against private property.
