Calling Out Bias and Challenging Assumptions in the Workplace
Helping people clarify their values is more important than releasing all of their thoughts and emotions. Calling out bias is easier for white men, as they are not perceived to have any personal agenda. One way to address bias is by asking questions and seeking evidence to support claims. For example, when someone questions a candidate's skills, ask for specific test results or data to back up their claim.
