Zero Connection String Security in Azure
In Azure, the aim is to eliminate the need for connection strings to enhance security. By utilizing managed identities and referencing Redis databases directly, the goal is to reach a level where there is nothing to steal or check in, surpassing even Key Vault's security level. Azure components for Aspire automate the creation of managed identities, role assignments, and permissions when the service supports managed identity, resulting in a system with no connection strings at all.
