Breath To Reduce Your Stress

The most effective practice for stress reduction and improving sleep and mood is cyclic sighing. Cyclic sighing involves inhaling deeply through the nose, followed by a second inhale to fully inflate the lungs. This second inhale helps to open up the collapsed avioli of the lungs and reintroduce air. Then, a long exhale through the mouth until the lungs are empty is performed. One single physiological sigh of this kind, done at any time of day and under any conditions, is the fastest way to reduce stress levels and bring about a sense of calm.
