#129 – Lisa Feldman Barrett: Counterintuitive Ideas About How the Brain Works
Lex Fridman Podcast
00:00
La hipótesis del cerebro triuno es falsa
The size of the human brain is not larger than expected for a primate of our size. The brain size of a human-sized chimpanzee would be the same as a human brain. Our brain is not special in terms of its size or blueprint, as the basic blueprint that builds our brain is the same as all mammalian and vertebrate brains. The mistaken attribution of rationality to the cerebral cortex is due to its size, not any unique qualities.
