Trujillo, the dictator of the Dominican Republic, established a strict daily routine for himself and had faith in his system to protect him. He was popular among the peasants and faced resistance primarily from the upper middle class and rich families. He also had numerous dates with girls, using both threats and rewards to induce their company. Trujillo had multiple children and was married.
