The Pathophysiology of Massive Overdoses
A massive overdose is distinct from a regular overdose with unique symptoms such as altered consciousness, metabolic acidosis and elevated lactate levels. This is caused by the interaction of acetaminophen and NACCHE with enzymes in oxidative phosphorylation and our electron transport chain, affecting energy production in our cells.
