Open Banking and Payments - What's the Iceberg?
We've been working with the open id foundation over the last three and a half years. We're seeing examples of that now in the u k. It's not only offering value to customers, it's offering value to banks and third parties as well. And i think the second innovation we're starting to see is around payments. What it does is it significantly reduces the likelihood of error in terms of entering the wrong deed. Money's more likely to go to the right account. Also, it ficantly helps with reconciliation at the other end because reference numbers and things can be augto entered.
