The Benefits of Walking for Brain Stimulation
Going for walks helps keep my brain entertained, especially after intense periods of work. I have enough going on in my head to keep me occupied for the 45 minutes of walking each day. Even though there's some boredom, there's still so much bouncing around in my mind that I never reach a point of having nothing to think about. Walking sparks creativity and ideas, similar to how people have their best ideas in the shower. To capture those shower ideas, we have a shower notepad with waterproof pencils. Although my roommates and I use it to write funny comments to each other, the main purpose is to jot down any brilliant ideas that come to mind during the shower because it's a time when we're unstimulated and our minds wander.
