Additionally, Hitler announced the swastika as the sole German flag at the 1935 Nuremberg rally, demanding it be saluted with the raised arm, a practice inherited from Mussolini. This widespread salute was seen as a potent form of totalitarian conditioning, where non-compliance could lead to physical consequences.
