NOTE

Stimulating the immune system to fight early cancers

The location of the pancreatic tumor is not a deterministic factor for survival, but rather a window into how soon symptoms occurred. Pancreatic cancers in the tail tend to be more fatal, even though they are easier to surgically remove. There is an idea to periodically stimulate the immune system in people over 40 or 50 to fight early cancers, but the focus should be on maintaining a healthy immune system as we age, possibly by staying on a normal circadian schedule and promoting better rest.
