The thought process preceding language production is separate from the language in which the words will be spoken. When individuals engage in thinking and planning their responses, such as in discussing mathematical concepts, the thinking process is detached from the specific language they will use. This indicates a higher level of abstraction that precedes the actual linguistic expression.
