NOTE

Difference between choosing and picking

Choosing and picking can be distinguished by the reasons behind the decision. While choosing involves stressing over options and considering different factors, picking is more spontaneous and without much thought. For example, deciding on a pain reliever at a grocery store can involve analyzing different brands and types, which is choosing. On the other hand, simply picking any pain reliever within a certain range without much consideration is like mental coin flipping. Sometimes, picking is as simple as selecting a soup flavor based on personal preference, such as chicken soup.
