NOTE

Critical Importance of Convex Responses in Medicine, Nutrition, and Other Fields

When it comes to long ventilators, giving someone a dose of 100% can be deadly, but giving them a dose between 80% and 120% increases their chances of survival. This is because they respond well to volatility, just like heart rate variability. In my previous paper, I explained that steady heart rate is actually a predictor of death. Now, I am focusing on convex responses and applying them to fields like medicine and nutrition. For example, intermittent fasting is a convexity thing that provides a different response than eating throughout the day. However, there is an optimum limit for everything. I am working on generalizing this concept to other senses, which all stems from optionality and option trading.
