The genesis of a unique interview concept

The idea of conducting an interview as a date originated from the desire to try something unique and humorous by combining two experiences. The concept of going on a date to a place one would never usually go to add an element of fun was introduced, leading to the idea of the chicken shop element. The interviewer's dry, sarcastic, and deadpan humor style, influenced by past experiences, played a significant role in shaping the interview concept. Inspiration was drawn from 'Between Two Ferns' for its anti-interview style, featuring awkward and unplanned interactions, which the interviewer found amusing and sought to replicate in their own spoof of traditional interviews.
