Exploring Nondual Shaiva Tantra with Christopher Wallis

The paradox of emptiness and fullness
The ultimate realization is the full void, the emptiness which is full, and the fullness which is empty. In Shiva tantra, one experiences a radical void of pure consciousness devoid of qualities, yet pregnant with infinite possibility. This paradoxical nature is described as both absolutely full and absolutely empty, vibrating in absolute simultaneity. This concept is similar to Nagarjuna's Madhyamika path, emphasizing that the true nature of reality transcends apparent opposites. The language of emptiness being full and fullness being empty is used to articulate this non-conceptual reality, where sublime presence overflows into all experiences.
