The Theologian Jurgen Miltmann on Jesus' Healing and Restoration

Jesus' expelling of demons and healing the sick is an act of driving out the destructive powers from creation and restoring the hurt and sick beings. The healings demonstrate God's lordship restoring creation to health and are not supernatural in a natural world, but rather the only natural thing in an unnatural, demonized, and wounded world. What is called supernatural is simply living by the natural order of another world, representing living in this world as if Jesus is truly king. The supernatural ministry of Jesus did occasionally happen within the temple.
