Visualization involves focused mind and emotion cultivation, leading to positive effects on the mind and body. In contrast, imagination, daydreaming, and fantasy often indicate a lack of focus, with the mind moving between various scenarios. Imagination is related to maladaptive daydreaming, a subtype of ADHD, where different scenarios are played out in quick succession without a single focus point.
