Engaging in challenging tasks for their own sake does not necessarily confer higher moral worth. Skills such as detailed map knowledge, exemplified by cab drivers, should not be idealized over the use of modern aids like Google Maps. The philosophical question lies in determining what activities truly foster personal growth and value, rather than merely valuing difficulty itself.
