Flexible Faculty Training Options

Faculty training programs have evolved to offer flexible options beyond the traditional summer course redesign Institute. Recognizing the varied needs of faculty members, the Institute now provides multiple on-ramps for participation. These include specific workshops for skill enhancement in areas like facilitating group discussions and exploring student metacognition, as well as a comprehensive workshop series and course redesign Institute. The training now features 12 standard workshops, eight special topics workshops, and an Active Learning Summer Institute held in May, aimed at accommodating different schedules and preferences.
