NOTE

Developing Intuition for Working with Language Models

To become proficient in working with language models, a strong intuition of what the model can and cannot do is essential. This intuition relies on a deep technical understanding of the model's functioning, including knowledge of token limits, training cut-offs, and the model's capabilities such as inability to perform mathematics or look up specific facts. Additionally, extensive hands-on experience with the model is crucial to develop the intuition, enabling the user to predict the model's accuracy. Once acquired, this intuition can make the language model incredibly powerful. However, transferring this intuition to others remains a significant challenge.
