NOTE

The Corner Marking Method for Efficient Book Note-taking

The corner marking method is a low-friction approach to ingesting information from nonfiction sources. It involves putting a line across the upper corner of a page to quickly locate relevant information and then bracketing out the relevant sentences. This method allows for quick review of marked pages in just a few minutes, enabling the reader to remember the key insights and the overall content of the book. Unlike other methods that involve more substantial processing of thoughts afterwards, the corner marking method minimizes overhead and allows for uninterrupted reading.
