The Power of Reading the Scriptures

As a Messianic Jew, I have found that studying the scriptures strengthens my faith. Reading the Hebrew scriptures and the New Testament has had a profound impact on my knowledge and belief. Orthodox Jews in Israel have even been moved to tears when they see my deep understanding of the scriptures through just reading them. I read because I love it, not because I am obligated to. God speaks through the scriptures and teaches us his words. I encourage everyone to meditate on the scriptures, as it brings prosperity and success. The importance of scripture is demonstrated when God instructs Israel to make a copy of it on a scroll.
