Building Infrastructure for a Real-time Low-cost Settlement Network
Over the next six months, we are excited to focus on building the infrastructure for a real-time low-cost settlement network for the internet. Our goal is to make it usable and accessible for any enterprise and developer. We aim to increase adoption by getting more exchanges and wallets on the network. In addition, we plan to enable transactions with different currencies, treating the Lightning network as a settlement network and Bitcoin as a easily convertible settlement asset. The quick transaction clearance time will help manage the volatility of the settlement asset on the network.
