Students' Mind State and Behavior Rewards in Problem Solving

During interviews with students, it was discovered that many of them did not understand how to solve problems or didn't want to think. The teachers would give them four minutes and 22 seconds to complete a task, and if the students managed to stall for that time, they would still receive the correct answer without having to do any work. This behavior was rewarded, leading to students who would fake their way through assignments.
