Why Would We Pray?

Many christians sit for years in a pew and hear prayers prayed by professional christians in words they never use in actual conversation. And so i don't pray that much, not yet. Maybe one day i'll learn the lingo. See, scripture teaches don't be anxious, just pray an d maybe we don't, because prayer actually comes with plenty of reasons to be anxious.
