Training a Language Model on Documentation and Cheap Tricks for Answering Questions
Everyone wants a language model trained on their own documentation, but it seems difficult. However, there's a cheap trick. You search your docs using terms from a question, glue together relevant paragraphs, and prompt the chatbot to answer the question. This hack surprisingly works well. Another enhancement is using semantic searches to find documents that discuss higher-level concepts, even if keywords don't match.
