Indigenous people and the challenges of cultural transition
We need to be careful not to have extreme views about Indigenous people. Small-scale societies face problems when they transition to a westernized way of living, including mental and physical health issues. Traditional diets are healthier than delivered food. Our society offers more individual freedom and access to various things. Happiness is subjective, but people should have the choice to live the lifestyle they prefer.
